Although the Axess standard door's guide depth increases as the door size specification increases, offering a high degree of security in strong winds, a special wind guide option is available. The wind guide option incorporates a locking mechanism which holds the edge of the door captive within the side track.
This system enhances the door's integrity when installed in areas of high prevailing wind. Axess wind guides offer added protection against the random and inconsistent nature of wind damage.
Such protection need only be considered on maximum door sizes.
