What is the Secured By Design Award?
The Secured By Design award scheme is operated by The Association of Chief of Police Officers. It is an award given to builders, developers and architects, whose building or development meets specified criteria in relation to minimum security requirements in both design and specification standards. It is recognised, approved and supported by, The Home Office, all 42 Police Forces of England and Wales, The Housing Corporation, The National Housing Federation, Local Authorities, The Association of British Insurers (ABI), etc...
